As we continue our U.S. expansion, we are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Florida and help deliver on exciting searches across North America and Europe. This is a unique opportunity to join a scaling business where you’ll gain hands-on experience, international exposure, and the chance to build a high-earning recruitment career.

The Role

You will support and drive end-to-end recruitment processes for commercial positions (sales, product, marketing, customer success, leadership) across the maritime software, commodity insights, and carbon intelligence markets. From day one, you will work closely with the Founder and senior consultants, developing your skills in sales, headhunting, and client management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and nurturing candidate pipelines for mid-to-senior commercial roles across the U.S. and Europe.
  • Conducting proactive outreach and headhunting to identify high-caliber professionals.
  • Supporting business development activities and learning how to win new client mandates.
  • Coordinating interview processes and ensuring excellent candidate and client experience.
  • Contributing to team growth initiatives, marketing campaigns, and market mapping projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • A proven sales professional OR a motivated individual with a strong background in competitive sports.
  • High energy, resilience, and passion for sales and people.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, scaling start-up environment.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in building relationships with senior executives.
  • Ability to balance detailed research with commercial urgency.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Commission: Up to 30% of fees billed (realistic OTE $75k–$100k+)

Interview Process:

  1. Initial 15-20 minutes exploratory phone call with Founder
  2. More in depth video interview to explore your aspirations, key skills and team fit
  3. Online/at home task to complete
  4. Video Call with other team members
  5. Final face to face meeting with Founder

Part-Time Business Development Representative (Tampa, FL)

Cordell Beaumont is a specialist recruitment agency supporting high-growth software and insights companies across the maritime, energy, and carbon intelligence markets.

We are seeking a driven Part-Time Business Development Representative (BDR) to help expand our North American client base.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct high-volume cold calling and outbound prospecting to senior executives in the Maritime Software, Commodity Insights and Carbon Intelligence sectors.
  • Identify and qualify new leads, setting up introductory meetings for the Cordell Beaumont leadership team.
  • Research and map target companies, building contact lists and outreach strategies.
  • Manage and track outreach activity in our CRM, ensuring consistent follow-up.
  • Support broader business development campaigns by coordinating email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, and market research.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in outbound sales, telemarketing, or lead generation.
  • Comfortable making cold calls daily and confident speaking with C-level decision makers.
  • Strong interest in the carbon intelligence and sustainability software space
  • Prior exposure to SaaS, technology, or professional services preferred.
  • Organized, persistent, and motivated by results.
  • Ability to work part-time and independently, with flexible hours.
